Mama Shelter's meeting

Mama Shelter is a hotel brand.
They own 5 hotels (Paris, Marseille, Istanbul, Lyon & Bordeaux).
The restaurant and the bar are open to anyone who wants to have a great moment.
The bar has a nice range of coktails.



The cocktail fever team has been to Bordeaux to tell you about cocktails.
The place is very nice, it has been designed by Philippe Starck.
The manager of the hotel received us to tell us about the place and the spirit of the company.
Then a bartender looked after us to talk about cocktails and advices.

The cocktail list is divided into 2 parts : traditional cocktails which are called : Most wanted and typical ones : Mama's drink


So first of all, we have experienced the iHola Mama! It's a creation of the manager of the team.


- 4cl Tequila Olmeca
- 1cl Jerez wine
- Cardamom sugar
- Hazelnut sirup
- Pineapple juice
- Crushed ice
- Ice cubes


First of all, put some crushed ice up to the top of the glass to make it as cold as possible. Add Tequila, Jerez wine, cardamom sugar and hazelnut sirup and ice cube in a shaker. Shake it ! Remove the crushed ice from your glass and pour the mix throught a filter to separate ice cube from the juice. Add
pineapple juice to the top of the glass.


Our tasting :
Smell : tequila, hazelnut

Taste : sweet, Jerez wine, well-balanced




According to the bartender advices, we tried the Pear sour with our sponsor Thompson's grape vodka.


- Thompson's grape vodka 5cl
- William's pear liquor 2cl
- Green apple syrup 1cl
- Lemon juice 1 hint
- mash pear 1cl
- Crushed ice
- Ice cubes

Put crushed ice up to the top of the glass. Add all the other ingredients in a shaker. Shake it ! Remove the crushed ice from your glass and pour the mix trhought a flilter to separate the ice cubes from the juice.

Our tasting :
Smell : lemon, pear
Taste : vodka
