All fans of The Big Lebowski (the Coen brothers movie) know the "White Russian" tasty cocktail vodka, coffee liqueur and milk. This week, we make a focus on this famous cocktail. We find lots of different recipes and we sought "ideal proportions" and we ended up finding this arrangement that gives a little alcohol but very balanced result:

- 1 part coffee liqueur
- 2 parts vodka
- 2 volumes of liquid cream

Thompsons French Grape Vodka
 http://www.thompsons.fr/

A video to show you the preparation

The thing was not easy to find , the team had to work hard to find this result .. but concentrate on the movie " The Big Lebowski " , glass after glass, observing " the Dude ," we managed that balance, and understood many subtleties in the movie!

There are many variations of this cocktail, such as the Canadian White with goat's milk instead of cow's milk, the Russian Blind , Baileys Irish Cream with instead of milk. The White Mexican , with horchata de chufa in place of milk, White Cuban, with rum instead of vodka and Russian Tito with coconut milk instead of milk
Which one are you?

Non Alcoholic cocktail to be healthy at the beginning of 2014

Cocktail Fever Team had tasted for you a healthy cocktail: The non-alcoholic Sangria!! Enjoy it!!!!!

Our favorite thing about sangria, the Spanish punch, isn't actually the wine or spirits; it's the luscious assortment of fruit that gets ladled into each glass. We love how refreshing it is to sip, and munch, on a warm day.

There are thousands of recipes for sangria, each using a different combination of wine and fruit. For the fruit, we like to use the ample supply of citrus in our local markets and gardens – thin slices of oranges, lemons, limes – plus an apple for crunch. You could also try fresh fruits like strawberries, pineapple or grapes. When steeped for several hours, the fruits both flavor the drink and soak up the liquid, turning plump and juicy. They not only look pretty in the glass, but are a delight to eat.

The liquid is a combination of black tea and pomegranate juice, which approximate the sweetness, acidity, and tannins of red wine. It's a beautiful substitute both flavor and color-wise, although caffeine does of course have a more stimulating effect than wine. We also include a little fresh orange juice for sweetness and cinnamon sticks for subtle spice. Just before serving, the drink is lightly carbonated, and the result is a punch suitable for young and old, drinkers and non-drinkers, mealtimes and parties.
Non-Alcoholic Sangria
Serves 8
2 cups boiling water
2 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose-leaf tea in an infuser)
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 orange, sliced into thin rounds
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
1 lime, sliced into thin rounds
1 apple, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
3 cups carbonated water
Pour boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks and steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and stir in sugar to dissolve.
In a large jar or pitcher, combine tea, cinnamon sticks, pomegranate juice, orange juice, orange, lemon, lime, and apple. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and preferably overnight.
Just before serving, stir in carbonated water. Serve in glasses over ice.
Enjoy it!!!!!!

Proceed to "Summit" recipe directly into the glass

Place 4 or 5 ice cubes and stir 5 seconds with a spoon. Put again 2 cl Brandy and add lemonade.
Shake 5 seconds with a spoon.

Serve in a glass of "old fashioned" type.

Use a VSOP cognac or VO. Preferably, for this cocktail, we used Brandy "Thompsons" from Bordeaux, fresh ginger and artisanal lemonade. you can use the peel cucumber to decorate.

This cocktail is really delicious, lightly bitter and spicy, brandy gives complexity to the mix.

 HISTORY
This cocktail was created in 2008 during the first international cocktail summit in Cognac by 17 bartenders. They aimed at creating a cocktail with Cognac to perpetuate the cognac tradition by being creative. They wanted to create a bestseller cocktail like mojito for rhum, cosmopolitan for vodka or margarita for tequila
